Canterbury Apprentice contestant fighting not to get "fired"

16 CONTESTANTS, 12 weeks, 1 job, the battle to be Lord Alan Sugar’s apprentice begins.
Millions of people tuned into BBC One on Tuesday night for the seventh series of the Apprentice. Amongst the 16 candidates, apprentice contestant Vincent Disneur from Canterbury, claims his “very good looks” will make him stand out from the crowd.

The 29-year-old will have to battle it out against 15 other contestants to prove Lord Sugar he has what it takes to be the next apprentice. 
The Sales manager, who works in telecoms software, believes his “smart, vivacious and ambitious” character will impress Lord Sugar and his eagle-eyed advisors Nick Hewer and Karen Brady.

In his audition Mr Disneur, said: "I have an unprecedented amount of business acumen. I’m a proven model in my industry – a best of breed within it – and I am currently shortlisted as the best sales personality of the year."

"I guess that I don’t really get intimidated."

 "Is it arrogance? I don’t think it’s arrogance. It’s confidence,” he added.

The winner of the newest series of the show will no longer win a six-figure-salary job at one of Lord Sugar’s business.

Instead the winner and their business idea will become a partnership with Lord Sugar with an investment if up to £250,000

All 12 challenging tasks will be based on a start-up business designed to push the contestants to the limit.

Mr Disneur added: "My positive approach and very good looks make me stand out from the crowd."

Ruth Carter, from Canterbury said: “I think it’s great that someone from Canterbury is taking part in such a popular show.

“It makes us all very proud. Canterbury does have talent!”
